Silicon Seeds Crystal used in semiconductor single crystal furnace

Silicon Seeds Crystal is stage 1 of the process to grow a large single silicon crystal. It is made in a foundry using a process called the Czochralski method.
The crystal is used to grow a much larger one over a period of up to 3 months in a quartz crucible.
Each one is unique; Silicon is quite fragile & will shatter if dropped.
